Guest Captain/Friend Question

I was wondering, is there a limit to how many times you can use your friends character as a guest captain? I can't find my friends character after I use it

i think theres a cooldown for using guest captains so its important to have lots of friends.

The list refreshes around noon pst everyday. (Don't remember the exact time) After you used your friend helper for the first time, both you and the friend need to refresh their game, (restart the app) and you should see your friend available again. Please note that both of you will only get the pal points from helping once a day.
