what is rerolling?

What is rerolling? What does it do? What is it for? I kinda understand u use it as an almost going back to a previous save, right? Like if you spend 50 gems and didn't get whitebeard could u just reload?

Rerolling is the process of restarting the game over again so you can get the starting 10 gems for 2 pulls free, and hopefully get something nice.
You can save your current account by issuing a password, and delete the app and reinstall to reroll, but whatever you get doesn't go on your current account, it'd be on a different account.
