How to change ships?

Hi there all,

Fairly new to the game and I've been trying to change my ship?
But every time I enter a new battle I keep getting the starter ship.

Help! Am I doing something wrong? Is there a specific button to push?

At the bottom of your screen, tap "CREW" and choose "EDIT CREW." On the Edit Crew page tap on your ship's icon to be taken to the Select Ship screen.
