Failure Rate for Ship

I was wondering if anyone know the failure rate for upgrading ship. Spent about 14 colas trying to get Going Merry to Level 6. Failure both times. Anyone know the rate?

Its not something we can know man sorry. But its really odd, in my old account I lost like 10 colas and in my current I haven't gotten a single failure. I guess its the same odds as in a super successful power up but with failure rate and not the success rate.

I failed at least 3 times (may have been more) just getting Merry to level 5.

I failed twice from 5-6. And made it on the third try. the rate is fucked up

I failed the 5 cola upgrade 4 times in succession. 5th try I finally got it. 20 colas wasted, though.

I've never failed merry from lvl1-lvl5, but I failed 5->6 a total of 4 times already...28 cola total
1 more cola and I can try a 5th time

It's just a ridiculous to upgrade merry.
I heard someone used 300colas from lvl8  but failed to get lvl 10 then quit playing.

lv8-9 8 fails
lv9-10 4 fails so far
dont feel too bad there's probably someone who has worse luck on this
