Hi guys, i've farmed some units recently. What should i focus on for future islands/bosses and in particular for mihawk?

Help for Mihawk Empty Re: Help for Mihawk

*READ THE LAST PARAGRAPH IF YOU JUST WANT A QUICK ANSWER, READ EVERYTHING ELSE IF YOU WANT EXPLANATIONS*

Based on the units you have shown, two from all the other crews you can possibly have are Slasher and Force crews (of course you can have a Zeff fighter crew or a INT nami crew, but with the units you have, these two are your best bet). For a Slasher crew, you have to level up and evolve tashigi, kuro and zoro to be strong enough for bosses (the better their lvls and higher their evolution, the easier time you'll have on boss runs). But, they have orb variety which makes them better than Force Crews. However, since you want a crew particularly for Mihawk, Force Crew would be your best bet. With a force crew, you'd be doing more damage to Mihawk and you would have to deal with only Luffy's evolution and then just focus on leveling everyone up. Overall, these two teams will only work for the 30 Stamina Island.

In my opinion, you should go with the Force Crew if your goal is Mihawk or Slasher Crew if you want a team with variety in orbs while also being used for many future bosses (a little side note, both crews are still used in JP version but with some of the units you have added/removed). I'm not saying you can't beat Mihawk with a high enough level Slasher Crew, but you will have a easier time beating him with a Force Crew and the units could be like 10-20 levels below your Slasher Crew and you'd still be fine. So you'd have less evolution and leveling up to deal with, saving you both time and money. Let me just give you a quick overview of what team would work.

Force Crew: At least lvl 50 for all units, except Ussop but you can do it if you can/want
    - G2 Luffy lead
    - G2 Luffy friend
    - Arlong
    - GP Ussop
    - Smooth Alvida
    - As for the last one, you can add any other force unit. Kuroobi would be better than Butchie and you can farm for Kuroobi when the Arlong event island gets released in a couple of days.

It would be very helpful if you focus on leveling up Arlong and/or Luffy past level 50 because they will be your main damage dealers. The rest you can leave at level 50.

Slasher Crew: At least a lvl 60 Arlong and a lvl 60+ Arlong friend and the rest of the units 50+ and evolved, except GP Ussop
    - 4* Arlong lead
    - 4* Arlong friend
    - GP Ussop
    - Asura Zoro
    - Kuro
    - Tashigi

So in conclusion, go with a Slasher Crew if you have the time, money and patience to level them up and evolve them. You will be using this crew for more islands/bosses than the Force Crew (I say this from personal experience). Otherwise, go with a Force crew if your ultimate goal is Mihawk, as they will be superior to Slasher Crews in beating Mihawk Island. Again, these two teams are only viable for the 30 Stamina island, which isn't a guaranteed drop. If you don't want to do all this, then just farm laboon and use the vivi/laboon combo on the 40 stamina island for a guaranteed drop by going through an extremely long and excruciating process. All this is based on my personal experience and understanding of the game. I have both these crews and have beat the zero stamina island with ease, but with a couple of different units. Whatever team you decide on, try it on the zero stamina island first to get an idea of what your damage per round is going to be and adjust your crew's levels based on that. Hope this was somewhat helpful and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

thank you very much, you have been really helpful bro Smile
I think I'll keep farmin units and turtles and than decide if i want a str team or a slasher. Probably I'll go for str, but I hope I'll drop a laboon in the meantime xD Is it difficult to drop a Vivi or Laboon? (ex. like arlong in story mode?)

I have another question, if I have 5 kuros shoud i keep them till i level kuro, so i can level special after the evolution? Should i focus on leveling Tashigi or Kuro first?

No problem, glad to help!
Yeah saving your turtles seem like the best decision. If you get laboon or vivi and are willing to go through the long 40 stamina process, then I suggest you just go for a slasher crew over the the force crew because imo, they are better than force crew now and even in the future (force crews still aren't bad, it's just that slasher crews are better in terms of power, health, specials and flexibility they provide). Yeah the drop rates are the same. You can get lucky and get it in your first try or have to keep farming till yo get it.

I checked out the name for Kuro's skill name/effect before and after evolution and they stayed the same. So if I'm not wrong, it doesn't matter if you skill up and evolve since the name and effect stays the same. Just double check to make sure I'm not wrong, though I don't think I am. Also, save them for April 1 when the skill up event starts, if you didn't already know.

Okay so Tashigi is good if you are looking for a single target nuke and Kuro is good for AoE. At max level and evolution, Kuro has better attack (around 100 more) and health (around 500 more) than Tashigi. He also has more hits per attack (around 9) where as Tashigi has less (around 4). Even though Kuro seems better, he requires 4.06 million exp to level up and evolve to max and Tashigi just needs around 3.4 millions exp to level up and evolve to max. Also Kuro will need a lot more money to level up. So if you can go through the hassle of Kuro then go for it, or Tashigi which is less of a hassle. As for me, I am using both (Tashigi is max and Kuro I will stop when hes like level 40) depending on whether I'm doing a normal story island or boss. I will probably evolve them one day just so I can get their character log but won't level them up after that. My reason for this is because later on you get much better QCK slashers like Rob Lucci (hey oh!) or Thatch from WB's crew. So I guess just go with whichever one works for you. Don't know if that helped at all but yeah these are my reasoning for what I'm doing.
