Only black/purple turtles on Monday?

For the other weekly events (e.g. penguins, dragons), there seems to be a reasonable chance to get the specific color that you want. Anyone know why the Monday turtle event only offers black/purple?

Maybe I'm still new to the game, but do they ever change it up, perhaps ever month or so at least??

as for now there are only purple ones .there will be different colors on different day but there are no infos about it when it will be just have to wait for it.

This event is mostly useless. High stamina cost, random and short times, old turtle not 100%.

it the most important island woudnt say its random because the times changes in a circle
for my timezone it is this monday on 3 pm 
then it circles through 11 pm 9 pm 5 pm and again 3 pm for the first turtletime
for the second the same plus 10 hours 

as for the drops if you got a good crew you can run more turns
last time i got 16 elder turtles from both times  it helped me a lot
