Ive never paid for gems, and i have very good units, you're gonna need to play the game more often and take advantage of the Raids/Fortnights/Events/ETC to keep good characters but it's completely unnecessary to buy gems im level 150 something now

same here i have never paid for gems im playing about 35 days now and i have reach 110lvl (playing a lot 
) and i am satisfying with my units plush tha game with those events it gives you gems everyday so you can gather gems withous paying.
